You can help rebuild a butterfly habitat along the bike path greenway at the Butterfly Bike Parade on Saturday, July 22. The parade starts at 10 a.m. in Unity Park, 3101 Straubel St., and travels 3.5 miles of bike path ending at Olbrich Gardens.
Participants will spread milkweed seedballs in greenway as they ride along the bike path.
This is a fun, FREE event and participants are welcome to decorate their bikes and event dress up in butterfly costumes. And, all children who join the parade will receive FREE admission to the Blooming Butterflies exhibit at Olbrich Gardens.
Just don’t forget your bike helmet!
