Going to the movies has gotten pretty pricey. Thankfully, several Madison area theaters offer discount days where you can see the latest blockbusters for under $10 per ticket. Here are the local theaters where you can see a movie for under $10 and maybe even score a deal on food and drinks at the concession stand.

Marcus Theaters Value Tuesdays
Marcus Theaters offers discounted movie tickets every Tuesday. For members of the theater’s Magical Movie Rewards program, tickets are just $6. Tickets for non-members are $7.
Magical Movie Rewards members can also get:
- 50% OFF UltraScreen DLX and SuperScreen DLX costs,
- 20% OFF food and drink purchases,
- Under $10 for a Super Combo (large popcorn and large drink)
- $2 hot dogs

There are two Marcus Theaters in the Madison area.

AMC Discount Tuesdays
Every Tuesday, members of AMC Theatres’ loyalty programs – AMC Stubs A-List, AMC Stubs Premiere, and AMC Stubs Insider – get discounts on movie tickets. The discount varies. For example, AMC Stubs Insiders can get a ticket for $8.64, a discount off the regular price of $11.49.
Stubs loyalty members can also save money at the concessions stand every Tuesday. A small popcorn and a small ICEE or fountain drink cost just $5.
AMC Theatre is located at 6091 McKee Rd. in Fitchburg.
Flix Brewhouse Discount Wednesdays
Flix Brewhouse probably offers the best discount deal in Madison. Every Wednesday, movie tickets are just $5.25 for everyone. You don’t need to be a loyalty member to get the discounted prices. The discount is not valid on holiday weeks or for movies premiering on Wednesdays.
Flix Brewhouse is located in the East Towne Mall at 85 E. Towne Way, Madison.
