The Dane County Fair kicks into high gear this week, July 20-23 at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way. You can get in for just $3 on July 20 & 21 before 3 p.m.

This annual family-friendly event features live music, carnival rides, great food, youth projects, a kiddie farm, and other animals.
Gates at the Fair open each day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and there is no admission after 8 p.m.
Admission for the 2023 Dane County Fair
- Age 12 and older: $10
- Age 6 – 11: $5
- Age age 5 and under: FREE
Parking for the event is FREE every day.
How to save money on admission
There are several ways you can save money on admission to the 2023 Dane County Fair. Here’s some discounts you can take advantage of:
$3 admission before 3 p.m. on July 20 & 21
Hometown Hero Day on July 21 – All past and present military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and first responders get in FREE for themselves and one guest.
Bucky Book coupon – The 2023 Bucky Book has a coupon for one FREE daily admission with the purchase of a second daily admission (a $10 value).

Carnival ticket pricing
The carnival at the Dane County Fair is open from 1 – 10:30 p.m. Thursday, and noon – 10:30 p.m. Friday – Saturday. Tickets for the carnival rides are:
- Single ride tickets: $1.50
- 20 tickets: $28 ($1.40 each)
- 50 tickets: $65 ($1.30 each)
Unlimited ride wristbands are also available for $33.
