The Wisconsin Union Directorate Film Committee (WUD), a UW-Madison student-run organization, hosts free film screenings throughout the year. In the summer, the WUD holds its Lakeside Cinema at the Memorial Union Terrace, 800 Langdon St. During the rest of the year, the FREE movies are at Union South’s Marquee Theater, 1308 W. Dayton St.
The WUD Film programming lineup consists of contemporary Hollywood blockbusters, independent, international and documentary films, as well as late-night cult favorites.
Lakeside Cinema movies start at 9 p.m. and end around 11 p.m. In case of rain, the movies will be moved inside the Rathskeller. Here’s the lineup for this summer:

Aug. 14 – Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Aug. 21 – Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Aug. 28 – Muppet Treasure Island
Sept. 4 – Pitch Perfect 2
