Fill your belly with a bunch of delicious treats from 80 different Madison-area restaurants at this year’s Taste of Madison, held Sept. 2 – 3 on the Capitol Square downtown.

This annual Labor Day weekend event not only features all types of food and a variety of beverages for you to try, but there’s also three stages of live music to enjoy.
The Taste of Madison is FREE to attend but you will have to pay for the food you want to eat. Food prices range from $4 – $6.
Be prepared to pay up for beverages this year because beers are pretty pricey. $8 for a 16-oz. Busch Light? Yikes! (Isn’t the main reason for drinking Busch Latte is because it’s usually like $4?) A craft beer is only $1 more, but $9 for 16 oz. still seems spendy (at least to this cheapskate).
If you plan on having a couple beers, there are 20 oz. souvenir tumblers that you can buy for $25. Then refills are $7, which per ounce saves you about 20-cents.
For those who bought souvenir cups last year, you’ll need to pay $10 for a refill.
