Sample 30 Chilis at the Monona Chili Cookoff on Sept. 30

Monona’s annual Chili Cook-Off is the longest-running of its kind in the state of Wisconsin. This year’s cookoff will be on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ahuska Park, 400 E. Broadway in Monona.

For a $15 admission, you can sample chili from as many as 30 different teams. Each sample is 1-oz., so go hungry if you are going to sample all 30 chilis. And you can have unlimited samples, in case you want to taste your favorites again. 

The event also features live music from the Madison classic rock band, The Sundogs. Delta Beer Lab beers will be available for purchase as well as other food and beverages.
