As the frosty embrace of winter settles over Madison, many of us hunker down in our homes and dream of warmer weather. Area farmers aren’t growing produce during these winter months, but that doesn’t mean the farmers’ markets have stopped completely.
During the winter months, the popular Dane County Farmers’ Market moves indoors to the Garver Feed Mill on the city’s east side. The Late Winter Market at Garver Feed Mill is held every Saturday from 8 am to noon through April 6.
Although it’s a bit smaller than the summer market around the Capitol Square, the winter market still offers some of the same popular vendors, including Stella’s Bakery, Hook’s Cheese Co., Savory Accents, and Renaissance Farms.
