Make sure you take precautions to stay safe while trick-or-treating by staying on sidewalks (in communities that have them), only crossing the road a designated crosswalks, and carrying flashlights or glowsticks to be visible. After the kids come home with their haul, don’t let them dig in until you have a chance to check it through.
If you happen to be driving through neighborhoods where children will be trick-or-treating, drive with caution. Let’s keep everyone safe!
Before heading out trick or treating for the night, you can take the kids to Olbrich Gardens for free pumpkin decorating. Details here.
